El Presidio Day School is a nationally accredited 3 star Quality First Center who joined our family in June 2016. Located in the historic district of downtown Tucson El Presidio is a one of kind early learning center that lives our mission – We believe children should be loved first and then taught.
El Presidio is a full-day, early learning and preschool educating our youngest minds from ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. We provide a unique, developmentally age-appropriate, academically rich program that enhances the natural curiosity and exploration of our children, while promoting self-esteem, moral values and fostering integrity within each child in our care. We offer a safe, nurturing environment that’s conducive to establishing lifelong learners.
El Presidio focuses on the development of the whole child. We strive to create warm accredited classroom environments where the care and education for each child is of the utmost importance.
During the first five years of life, children need constant attention and stimulation to promote their growth. Here at El Presidio, their days are filled with music, books, art projects, sensory and science exploration, math lessons, small and large motor stimulation and social interaction. Our goal is to help each child during these early years by giving them the essentials they need to grow into a questioning knowledgeable, self-confident individual. We are open Monday-Friday from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm.
