Ms. Linda, is our school age teacher. Not only is she a reliable and consistent positive role-model for her students, but she is also silly, creative, and able to form deep connections with each individual child. She help’s with homework, has amazing activities for her class to do, and involves them in every decision of THEIR room. She is constantly working to improve her skills through training’s and one-on-one coaching so that she can make her class the best in the center. Congratulations to Open Arms who was awarded three stars through Quality First. Open Arms missed a four star rating by two points. In 2016 Open Arms went from being a two star center to a three star center and also being awarded accreditation through the National Accreditation Commission.
Mrs. Lisa she went above and beyond for the month of October helping out with the trunk or treat and really pushing the team to step up their creativity. She spoke with all the parents about our trunk or treat and even got a few to participate. She always walks in with a positive attitude that is contagious to staff and children. She makes it point to speak with every parent as they pick up their child and tells them about their child’s day. Congratulations to Ms. Jeanette for being named Miramonte Day School November Team Member of the month. Jeanette Bray, is our phenomenal Javalina’s teacher. She is reliable, consistent and always willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that her classroom has a positive, warm and loving feel to it. She brings many years of experience with her and it shows in her passion, creativity, and child/family interactions. She is always striving for excellence and seeks out information and ideas to continuously improve her classroom and the center as a whole. Most importantly, she develops loving relationships with her student’s which allows for them to learn and thrive holding true to our mission that children should first and then taught.
Congratulations to Ms. Mercedes at SELC for being named the October Team Member of the Month. Ms. Mercedes has gone above and beyond to help the school and everyone in it. She found a new aspiring co-teacher to mentor in her classroom with her. She does everything that is asked of her and smiles during the entire process. All of our children and families love and respect her!
