Small Miracles is proud to announce that we have joined forces with the State of Arizona’s Department of Health Services (AZDHS) “School Garden Sanitarian” Kathryn Mathewson. Little Ranch, Open Arms, Old Spanish Trail, Scottsdale Early Learning Center, and Pima Country Day School have been certified to grow, harvest, and eat the food that comes out of their very own gardens. The children will learn as early as age 1 healthy eating habits through sensory learning. Not only will our preschool children be exposed to a new way of learning where their food comes from, they will start to have a new appreciation for fresh fruits and vegetables straight from their preschools backyard.
