All of our schools offer a package of a renovated and updated facility and classrooms, curriculum supplies and materials, the best teachers, best programs, quality meals, and also includes Music and Movement Classes, Spanish Classes, Sign Language Classes, Mini Monet Art Classes, and Story Telling as part of our base tuition. Most facilities do not do this or they charge extra.
The following is a brief look at those special programs:
Music and Movement
Music and Movement is a unique program that is based on Early Childhood Education precepts. The instructor, Mr. Ray, has 28 years of experience teaching all ages. Mr. Ray uses things such as drums, parachutes, streamers, puppets, masks, and balls to teach basic concepts and skills, and enhance confidence, self esteem and working with others.
During this time our special Story Time Guest Reader will read and act out the story with class participation. The children learn a story using not only their listening skills but also through their imagination, dramatic skills and role playing.
The curriculum for our Sign Language Class is based on Babies First 100 Words, which is a list of words/signs for beginners to American Sign Language. The children expand their communication skills through learning a new language and expressing themselves by promoting their visual memory skills.
The curriculum for our Spanish Class is based on the curriculum that public schools use. The children learn to develop their vocabulary by using their auditory skills and enhancing their verbal abilities through learning a new language.
This class is named after the famous Impressionist 19th Century French painter, Claude Monet. This class is designed to encourage children to express themselves through art. Our Mini Monet Class helps initiate interest in art and promotes self-confidence through creative representation of their world.
